I know for a fact that SZ inspects their products prior to shipping them ou tto the customer. Their attention to detail if far greater that their competition. At the end of the day it is the sellers responsibility to deliver a product that lives up to their standards. If you look at the merge collection differences between the SZ & AMS units there is a huge difference. The SZ DPs have a hand blended WG tube to Primary tube collector. The AMS DPs seem to have a large amount of overlap between the two tubes when they merge together. In a more extreme situation with a very efficient system that "overlap" on the AMS DPs can create an amount of back pressure that can lead to compressor surge. Additionally the SZ DPs have an area that expands right after the 5 bolt flange, where the AMS DPs eleminated this area. So SZ has a larger primary tube right off the bat that allows the hot exhaust gasses to expand and cool creating a high velocity and creating less back pressure. I guess Vuk & his "engineers" thought this was not needed, LOL! I find it really funny tha the AMS Stainless Steel is starting to "Brown"! It just shows that SZ works to achieve the "BEST", where AMS lives by "good enough". It also goes to show how marketing can sell a sub-par piece of equipment. Need less to say I have SZ DPs & I couldn't be happier with their quality & service. At the end of the day you get what you pay for, I pay for the BEST -> SZ Products!
